How Long Is the Mountain Coaster and How Fast Does It Go?

Lost Mine is home to the longest mountain coaster ride in Pigeon Forge. The track stretches more than 5,000 feet and features four uphill sections and four downhill sections, creating an adventure that lasts between 9 and 18 minutes depending on how fast you choose to ride. 

One of the unique aspects of mountain coasters is that you control your own speed. Riders can enjoy a leisurely scenic ride through the immersive mountain-themed environment or reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour for a more thrilling experience. 

What Are the Height and Weight Requirements? 

Our mountain coaster is designed to be fun for a wide range of ages, but there are a few requirements to keep in mind before your visit. Riders must be at least 38 inches tall and 3 years old to ride. Guests between 38 and 54 inches tall must ride with an adult. 

The maximum combined weight per cart is 375 pounds during dry conditions and 330 pounds during wet or icy conditions.

Absolutely, Lost Mine is open at night! In fact, many guests say the coaster is even more exciting after dark.
